Restrictions lifted for Reggae Sumfest

Jamaican Authorities have made Reggae Sumfest (held in Montego Bay this month) exempt from the national noise abatement policy.  The policy shuts down music entertainment off at midnight during the week, and two am during the weekend, Sumfest is to take place over a week’s time.  Promoters were touting its international appeal and its national festival status as reasons to be exempt, it was made official Friday, July 4th.

Reddafire.com’s own Mr. Bone from the P.S.O. camp is making the trip, we hope to have him keep us up to the time on the festival as it goes down.
