The Jamaican Dancehall Crew THE ALLIANCE’s most prominent members BOUNTY KILLER and MAVADO have had to cancel shows in the South American nation of GUYANA according to the Jamaica Star. Bounty Killer has been “blacklisted” by the Guyana Home Affairs Ministry. Mavado is said to be a “security risk” and also has been disallowed entry.
Mavado also has had problems coming to America, missing several shows in NYC this past spring. He has a pending gun charge and is said to be wanted in a few parishes in Jamaica and cannot obtain a Visa, even as his On The Rock remixed by Jay-Z is gaining popularity in the U.S. (See RF’s Music Charts)
