Since 4.20.06, REDDA FIRE has provided Honolulu a dancehall/reggae outting that had bodies movin’ till 4am on Thursday Nights. We have featured many local, mainland, and international selectors throughout the years and have seen some amazing nights, big artists have touched the microphone, and dancers graced the hardwood with the classic careless swing to the latest dances. Many believe REDDA FIRE has been Honolulu’s most successful pure reggae running event. It certainly the longest running.
But alas we at Pacific Sounds Outernational are looking to go into different directions and moving to earlier schedules. We have DANCEHALL CITY @ Indigo running very well now, plus we are planning many concerts and one-offs over the next year.
Tonight, Feb 5, we salute Reggae King Bob Marley & Dennis Brown, and when our night concludes at 4am, it will conclude REDDA FIRE at The Living Room.
The Living Room and their staff have been outstanding, and we hope the very best for them.
So, tonight is the final REDDA FIRE, but the beginning for many things to come. Please join us, our doors open at 11pm, needles drop right away for your enjoyement.
Thank you sincerely from the entire Pacific Sounds Outernational Ohana and extended family.
Aloha, Jason Palmer
